Covid - 19

Health & Safety Protocol

The health, safety and welfare of all of our customers is of paramount importance to us.

The Master Photographers Association (MPA) has prepared the following H&S Covid-19 Protocol for members to the best of the information that is available at this time.

trebor photography has signed up to the Master Photographers’ Association Covid-19 Protocol and we agree that we will reassure all our customers, that we will follow the Covid-19 advice given by HM Government and our Local Authority.

In addition we must maintain a clean and safe environment for us and all our customers.

1. Studio Cleaning Policy

Before and after every studio session the studio is deep cleaned by using disinfectant / isopropyl alcohol and/or steam cleaning. All surfaces that could be touched and all props used are sanitised. All blankets and outfits used are washed between portrait sessions. The studio will be aired thoroughly to minimise any droplets in the air.

2. Time Between Sessions

At least 1 hour will be left between sessions to enable a deep clean of all surfaces and accessories to take place and to ensure there is no contact between customers arriving and leaving the premises.

3. Sick Policy

Customers will be required to disclose if anyone coming to the session has had a fever or any other symptoms such as coughs, sickness or vomiting or has been in contact with anyone displaying Covid-19 symptoms, suspected of having Covid-19 or has had a Covid-19 positive test result at least 24 hours before their session. Appointments will be re-arranged, at no cost.

4. Self Monitoring

Louise and Rob and customers will be required to monitor their temperatures and health before coming into the studio. Disposable gloves and masks will be available in the studio and these should be used as deemed necessary and appropriate.

5. Hand Washing

Louise and Rob will thoroughly wash their hands for a minimum of 20 seconds before all sessions. Appropriate sanitising hand gels will be made available and customers requested to use these upon arrival at the studio.

6. Social Distancing

Louise and Rob agree that every effort will be made to keep the 2m social distancing advice at all times where possible both in the studio and on location. This includes shaking hands and moving / adjusting hair or clothes. Parents may be asked to help move their children and babies as requested by the photographer. During the portrait session instructions to the clients will be given from the distance stipulated by and in accordance with the social distancing rules. Due to the restrictions imposed by social distancing, it may not be appropriate to offer usual studio sessions and poses, particularly with regard to newborn and maternity sessions. To carry out these types of sessions where social distancing may not be possible due to safety, a bespoke policy will be put in place between the photographer and their customer.  trebor photography operate an appointment only booking system to ensure no contact between customers and minimise the risk by ensuring that the measures on this protocol are conveyed to customers before their appointments.

7. Covid 19 Customer Safety & Welfare Policy

Information with Q&A's

With the current Covid-19 situation being completely unprecedented times and as a small local business in Braintree, we reply on our customers to help support us.

We really hope to re-open very soon so will keep you posted.

Above is our main protocol we are following as we are members of the Master Photographers Association (MPA) but we also thought you would appreciate to hear about what steps we are doing to keep ourselves and customers as safe as possible.

Q - What are we doing here at trebor photography?

A - We want to reassure all our lovely customers that we as a small local business are doing everything we can to protect you and your family when visiting the photography studio.  We are following all available government guidelines and have stepped up hygiene methods within the business to do the best we can to contain the spread of the virus.  All areas are being deep cleaned.  The kitchen and bathroom areas are being cleaned at regular intervals throughout the day.  Louise and Rob are committed 100% to maintaining a very high level of hygiene for everyone's safety.

Q - I have my wedding photography booked but need to change the date?

A - If you are thinking of changing your wedding date please work with us and your wedding venue.  The majority of weddings that have already changed dates, we have been able to accommodate with no problems.  We have been in contact with all our brides and grooms up to September but if you are concerned just give us a call.

Q - I have a booking, what do I do?

A - If you are worried, please call the photography studio on 01376 786995 for a chat.  We know emotions may be running a little higher than normal or you may be feeling that you don't really know what's the right thing to do for you and your family.  If you are self isolating and would prefer not to come in for your photoshoot right now it's not a problem, we can reschedule for a later date.  We can also arrange a date now or leave your booking pending in our system until you are happy that the situation is safe.

Q - I'd still like a Family Photoshoot Session, can I book?

A - That's great news!  If you wish to come to the studio with your family and are happy to do so then we will be here for you when we re-open.  If you would like to meet at a local park or favourite spot for a walk we are happy to accommodate as photographs taken outdoors create just as many memories as studio photos.  In these uncertain times, we still really need to be very careful but your session can still take place.  When booking just let us know if you would prefer to arrange your session outside.

Q - Can I bring my pet for a pet portrait session?

A - Of course you can.  We welcome pets at the photography studio and know how much they are a valid member of each household.

Q - I'm expecting a baby during Covid-19 ...

AWe are delighted that you are considering trebor photography for the most important photographs you will ever own and look forward to working with you in the near future.  Every photographer has a different approach to creating and presenting images.  One of the key benefits is that we focus on you and your new family.  We want to make sure we are the right portrait photographer for you so hopefully the information on our website will help you make that decision.  We take the time to get to know you as a family rather than rush the session plus we actively encourage Mum's and Dad's plus siblings to be involved in the photoshoot.

Q - I've had a baby in lockdown ... is it too late for newborn photos?

A - As much as newborn photographs are on a short window period (normally between 4 - 12 days old) we would be very happy to offer you the chance to upgrade what would have been your newborn photoshoot to either a family photoshoot or Baby's First Year photoshoot.  Both offers we promise to capture your new little one making memories to treasure for generations.

Q - I have a voucher that is going to expire, help ...

A - That's not a problem, simply contact the photography studio on 01376 786995 and we can change the date on your gift voucher.

Q - I have a specific question or concern, can you help?

A - Absolutely, simply telephone Louise or Rob on 01376 786995
